EMELKO & Shanghai Chao Shang Food Signing

EMELKO: The sole Greek Olive Oil producing and exporting company that signed an excellent commercial contract during the Greek-Chinese economical event in Athens

“EMELKO”, the Cretan Olive Oil producing company, is the only Greek company of its sector that participated in the Greek-Chinese transnational event for the commercial cooperation between companies of the two countries. More specifically, “EMELKO” signed a 14m. euro long-term commercial cooperation contract with the Chinese company Sanghai ChaoShang Food for the supply of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The event took place on 19th & 20th June 2014 at Zappeion Megaron in the presence of the two countries’ Prime Ministers.

The particular commercial contract is a result of the long-term company strategy of foreign market penetration.

The company’s representative, commercial director Mr Konstantinos Tzanakis, made the following statement after the event:
